Jose Luis Cedillo Gomez

November 19, 1934 — March 9, 2024

Jose Luis Cedillo Gomez passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Manatawny Manor in E. Coventry Twp. PA. He was 89. Luis was a resident of Plymouth Meeting, PA and formerly of Glendora, NJ. He served in the Spanish Armed Forces stationed in Morocco and worked all aspects of the restaurant industry worldwide. Luis enjoyed fishing, antiquing, cooking and doing Sudoku puzzles.

Born on November 19, 1934 in Madrid, Spain, he is a son of the late Ricardo Cedillo and the late Pilar Gomez. Jose Luis is the husband of the late Joan A. (Woods) Cedillo who died in 2022.

Surviving is his loving family including a son, Lou Cedillo and his wife, Taleen of Plymouth Meeting, PA; a daughter, Pamela Andraka and her husband, Doug of King of Prussia, PA; 4 grandchildren: Trent, Emma, Luke, and Louie; a sister, Pilar Cedillo Gomez; and many other loving family members.

He is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Manolo and Ricardo Cedillo Gomez.

Jose Luis’s family will receive relatives and friends at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 11:00 am to 11:50am, with his Funeral Service starting at 12noon. Inurnment will be private.
