Joseph R. Angelucci, Jr.

Joseph R. “Junior” Angelucci Jr. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Devon Senior Living in Devon, PA. He was 80. Mr. Angelucci was a resident of Norristown, PA. He worked as an Avionics Technician for NARCO, formerly of Fort Washington, PA, for greater than 20 years. Joseph was a member of Holy Saviour Church in Norristown, PA. He enjoyed golfing, bocce ball, swimming, fishing, playing cards and going to the casinos. Most of all, Joseph loved spending time with his grandsons, especially attending all their sporting events. Joseph was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed. Mr. Angelucci was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Born in Norristown, PA on November 26, 1935, he was a son of the late Joseph R. Sr. and Ella Angelucci. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 53 years, Rita J. (Amendolia) Angelucci; a son, Joseph J. Angelucci of Flourtown, PA; two daughters, Lisa Tharp and her husband, Michael, of W. Norriton, PA and Maria Larson and her husband, Scott, of Wayne, PA; two grandsons, Scott & Harry; a brother, John Angelucci and his wife, Eleanor; and many other loving family members. Relatives & friends are invited to Joseph’s Funeral Mass at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main St., Norristown, PA on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 10:30 am. His viewing is Monday from 9 to 10:15 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton, PA.
