Joseph E. Arthur

Joseph E. Arthur, 85, of North Wales, PA, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 while in the company of family, at Neshaminy Manor, in Warrington, PA. Joseph was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 6, 1931, a son of the late Katherine M. (Muller) and John E. Arthur. He was employed as a Supervisor at CW Industries Southampton, PA., for over 30 years, retiring in 1996. He enjoyed Playing Baseball and softball, Bowling, Bocce Ball and was an avid coin collector and enjoyed Model railroading. He was the widower of Clare (Hires) Arthur and more recently the late Evelyn Duffy Arthur. He was a member of Mary Mother of The Redeemer Church North Wales, PA. Joseph is survived by a daughter, Kathleen, wife of Gary Bennett, of Perkasie, PA; He will be dearly missed by Evelyn’s children; Michael, husband of Denise Duffy, of Cape May, NJ; Evelyn, wife of John Giel, of North Wildwood, NJ; Kathleen, wife of Thomas Mourer, of Bensalem, PA and Joanne, wife of Hillard Bresky, of Kinnelon, NJ. Relatives and Friends are invited to his viewing 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Mary Mother of The Redeemer Church 1325 Upper State Road in North Wales, PA, immediately followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM.
