Joseph Francis Lepkowski, 84, of Bear, Delaware, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 19, 1940, Joe was a man of integrity, kindness, and quiet strength and will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family, and his passion for life's simple pleasures.
Joe leaves behind his beloved wife of 65 years, Beverly Ann Lepkowski, with whom he shared a deep and enduring love. Together, they raised a family rooted in love and tradition. He is also survived by his children: Joseph Lepkowski (Kay) and Sharon Roberts (Brian). His legacy continues through his cherished granddaughters, Alyson Roberts (Mark Zeszut) and Shelby Roberts (Sam Elliott).
Joe was the proud brother of Jane Twardowski (Terry), Robert Lepkowski, and Anthony Lepkowski (Linda). He will be deeply missed by his extended family, friends, and all who knew him.
Throughout his life, Joe was known for his strong work ethic as a self-employed contractor, taking great pride in his craft and in the projects that bore his name. He indulged in gambling and was a lover of old westerns, particularly the films of John Wayne. His love for cruises allowed him to experience the world. But his greatest joy was always in the company of his loved ones.
A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Joe's life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St. Paul Catholic Church in Joe's memory.
Through Joe's presence will be deeply missed, his legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
