Joseph F. Pascavage, Sr. "Joe" passed away peacefully on Friday, March 29, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. He was 62. Joe resided in Norristown, PA. He worked as a commercial Truck Tire Service Manager for Bergey's Tire Inc. of Hatfield. Joe was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Norristown, PA. He graduated from the former Bishop Kenrick High School, Class of 1968. Joe was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, he enjoyed listening to country music, building train platforms and fishing. Mr. Pascavage was a US Navy Veteran. Born in Ashland, Schuylkill County, PA on December 10, 1950, he was a son of the late Albert T. and Albina M. (Adamavage) Pascavage. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 35 years, Sandra L. (Williams) Pascavage; a daughter, Susanna P. Fahey and her husband, Steven, of Jeffersonville; a son, Joseph Pascavage, Jr. and his fiancé, Elizabeth Roach, of Norristown; four grandchildren: Kyle, Michael Joseph, Heather and Michael Saverio; four brothers: Albert J. Pascavage and his wife, Lillian, of Audubon, Robert Pascavage and his wife, Elizabeth, of Boyertown, John Pascavage and his wife, Le Thi Nhat Tan, of Pottstown and Thomas Pascavage of Glenolden: two sisters, Sharon Proietto and her husband, Nick, of King of Prussia, Debra Strickland and her companion, John Dawson, of Barto; a sister-in-law, Joanne Pascavage of Norristown; and many nephews and nieces. Joe was preceded in death by two brothers, Anthony and Andrew Pascavage. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 600 Hamilton St., Norristown, PA 19401 on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 10am. Officiating will be the Rev. Christopher Cooke, Pastor. Joe's viewings will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8:00pm at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Route 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405; and also Wednesday morning from 9 to 9:50am, at St. Francis Church. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Jeffersonville, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joe's name to St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Norristown.
