Joseph C. 'Peppy' Ragusa

Joseph C. "Peppy" Ragusa Jr. passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Suburban Woods Health & Rehabilitation in E. Norriton, PA. He was 84. Mr. Ragusa was a resident of Plymouth Meeting, PA. He attended Norristown schools. Peppy was a self-employed concrete contractor. Some of the projects he was known for included the county parking lot at DeKalb between Airy and Marshall Sts., the duck pond at Elmwood Park Zoo and the bridge in Plymouth Township at Germantown Pike and Mill Creek Rd. Mr. Ragusa was a US Army Air Force veteran.Born in Norristown, PA on March 2, 1930, he was a son of the late Guiseppe and Anna (Puleo) Ragusa. Surviving is his loving family including a brother, James P. Ragusa of Norristown, PA; a sister, Anna Noecker of Plymouth Meeting, PA; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Jerry and Charles Ragusa; and 2 sisters, Angelina Bacchi and Josephine Saldutti.Peppy's Memorial Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202) Bridgeport, PA on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 9 to 10:50 am, at the funeral home.
