Joseph P. Watson passed away peacefully on Monday, August 16, 2021, at Gwynedd Healthcare & Rehab in Lansdale, PA. He was 92. Mr. Watson was a resident of North Wales, PA and was formerly of Bridgeport, PA. He worked as a Court Crier for the Montgomery County Court House in Norristown, PA for Judge Brody and Judge Ferber. Joseph was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bridgeport and a former member of the American Legion in King of Prussia. He was a US Army veteran of WW II, serving as a Staff Sergeant in Japan. Born in Philadelphia, PA on April 20, 1929, he was a son of the late James and Martha (Ziemek) Watson; and the husband of the late Patricia A. (Dougherty) Watson, who died in 2019. Surviving is his loving family including a son, Paul J. (Treena) Watson; a step-daughter, Trudy A. (Robert) Patterson; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a nephew, Thomas; and a niece, Georgann. He was preceded in death by a step-son, Robert D. Young; and a sister, Mary Bogdan. Relatives and friends are invited to a Graveside Service for both Joseph and Patricia, at SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Cemetery, 439 W.
