Joseph W. Zawislack

Joseph W. Zawislack passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, surrounded by his loving family at Season's Hospice in Phoenixville, PA. He was 70. Mr. Zawislack was a resident of Phoenixville, PA. He was a graduate of the former Bishop Kenrick High School in Norristown, PA, Class of 1963. Along with his wife, Trish, he was the owner and operator of Crayon Soup in the King of Prussia Mall, for 25 years. He then worked for Littman Jewelers in the Coventry Mall. Joseph was a member of St. Basil the Great Church in Kimberton, PA. He enjoyed cooking, traveling and playing golf but most of all, he loved his church and his family. Born in Norristown, PA on July 26, 1945, he was a son of the late Walter J. and Helen M. (Marchak) Zawislack. Surviving is his loving family including his wife, Patricia M. “Trish” (Valerio) Zawislack; two sons, Joseph Zawislack of Phoenixville, PA and Tim Zawislack and his wife, Chrystelle, of Cos Cob, CT; a daughter, Dia Christie Foden and her husband, John, of Poquoson, VA; four grandchildren: Aubrie & Marcus Foden and Christin & Anthony Zawislack; and a brother, Steven Zawislack of Norristown, PA. Relatives & friends are invited to Joseph’s Funeral Mass at St. Basil the Great Church, 2300 Kimberton Rd., Kimberton, PA on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Gary Pacitti. His viewing is Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:45 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joseph’s memory to the Regina Nursing Home, 550 E. Fornance St., Norristown, PA 19401.
