Josephine H. Poston

Josephine H. (Bogatiuk) Poston passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Season's Hospice in Phoenixville, PA. She was 76. Ms. Poston was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. She worked as a Medical Coder for Reimbursement Technologies for 20 years, until her retirement. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Bridgeport. She was also a member of the Limerick Bowman’s Club, the Red Hat Ladies of King of Prussia and a social member of Swedeland Fire Co. Josephine was an avid reader, liked going to the Carillon at Valley Forge Park, loved jokes and riddles, the Cowtown Rodeo, old time movies, country music and Elvis. She showed her adventurous side by taking flying lessons, zip lining and going on hot air balloon rides. Josephine’s favorite thing was spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Born in Philadelphia, PA on August 28, 1942, she was a daughter of the late George Bogatiuk, Sr. and Sophie (Januszewski) Feeley. Surviving is her loving family including a daughter, Rachel S. (& John) Vagnoni; 3 sons: Raymond (& Nancy) Palmer, Russell S. Poston and Shawn L. Poston; 8 grandchildren: Tiffany, Simone, Dante, Shelby, Connor, Morgan, Nathaniel and Nikolai; 2 brothers, George (& Diane) Bogatiuk and Carl (& Jane) Bogatiuk; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Lynn Poston. The family will receive relatives and friends at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Friday, July 5, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:50 am; with her Prayer Service starting at 12:00 pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Josephine’s memory to Seasons Hospice, 140 Nutt Rd., Phoenixville, PA 19460.
