Juan Rodriquez Llanos, Jr.

Juan R. Llanos Jr., was born January 15, 1956, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Gloria DuPree & Juan R. Llanos. At an early age Juan come to know his Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Juan received his primary education from the Abington School District system. During his time in High School he loved the game of football; he loved it so much that he was offered a scholarship to attend Penn State and Temple. After receiving his education, he was noticed by Local Judge of Montgomery County and Contracting Company that offered to sponsored him to attend the Atlanta Falcons Training Camp as a walk-on which he had the opportunity to play football. But due to having an injury, his love of a football career was cut short. So thereafter Juan enlisted into the United States Army where he served in Korea. After serving his term he then became Honorably Discharged from serving in the United States Army. Meanwhile, Juan work for Contracting Company as a Contractor and Head Foreman for many years. The last job he worked on was The Kimmel Center before he retired. Juan enjoyed hobbies from over the years fishing, watching & attending Football, Baseball Games, Coaching Little League Football, Dancing, Singing, listening to music, watching television, playing video games with family, and cooking dinner for family and friends. Juan always had a huge open heart for many that had come to know him and he took great pride for the love of his faith, many families, friends, community, military. On Friday, May 31, 2019 Juan entered in the presence of the Lord. Preceding him in death were his Father, Juan R Llanos Sr. and his Mother that he adored so much and deeply missed, Gloria E. Llanos. Juan leaves to cherish his precious and loving memory his children: sons Tyler, Juan Jr III, and daughter, Ashanti, step-sons: Jason Demos, Michael Demos, Felix, and Eddie and step- daughters: Dana, Amanda, Jasmine, Serena; grandson, Elijah; granddaughters, Skyler and Andreas; from oldest to youngest his brothers and sisters: Jose, Pablo, Marcelo, Bonifacio, Tomas, Zoila and Gloria, Cathy, Mable, Juanny, Zoila, Noelia, Tona, Vilma, Louis, Rose, Alejandro, and Curlie; Aunt Melvis Dinkins, Uncle Rudy DuPree, sisters-in-law, Rachael LLanos and Karleen Llanos; brother-in-law, Anthony Divon Jr.; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and other loved ones. He also had three ex-sisters-in-law that he was still fond of: Darlene Gibson, Sigrun Llanos, and Kyong Sun Rhee. Also, Jennifer Davis thanks for always being a great friend, supportive, understanding and being there when Weedy needed it most. The family of the late Juan R. Llanos Jr. would like to take this time and opportunity to extend their sincere appreciation for the many kind expressions of sympathy and concern shown during their hours of bereavement. Also for all the donations that was given by family, friends and community; we deeply appreciate it all and blessing. May God keep each and every one of you in His tender loving care. Juan’s Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 10:00am – 11:30am at Trinity Community Church, 1200 Easton Road, Abington, Pa. 19001. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 333 County Line Rd, Feasterville-Trevose, PA 19053. Repast: Following the Interment, relatives, and friends are invited to return to Trinity Community Church 1200 Easton Rd, Abington, PA 19001.
