Karen L. Jacobson

Karen L. (Jones) Jacobson passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Mercy Suburban Hospital in E. Norriton, PA. She was 55. Mrs. Jacobson was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. She worked as a receptionist for Thorp-Bailey-Weber Eye Associates in Plymouth Meeting, PA. Born in Norristown, PA on March 26, 1960, she was a daughter of Lila M. (Chandler) Jones of Bridgeport, PA and the late Robert W. Jones. Surviving is her loving family including her mother; her husband of 33 years, Todd R. Jacobson; a son, Joshua Jacobson of Bridgeport, PA; a daughter, Jessica Jacobson of Bridgeport, PA; a granddaughter, Lily Jacobson; five brothers: Norman (Pam) Jones of Columbus, OH, Robert Jones and Brian Jones, both of Bridgeport, PA, Terry (Michele) Jones if Douglassville, PA and Brent (April) Jones of Limerick, PA; a sister, Lila K. Burokas of Bismarck, ND; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lyle Jones. Karen’s Panakhyda Service will be held at SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 519 Union Ave., Bridgeport, PA on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 11:30 am. Officiating is Msgr. Dr. Ronald Popivchak, Pastor. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 10 to 11:20 am, at the church. Interment will be private.
