Katharine "Kathy" Elizabeth M. (Morley) Reynolds, 76, unexpectedly entered her heavenly home on December 30, 2017. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her throughout her life. As the youngest of four girls, Kathy was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey on September 19, 1941 to her parents, William and Elizabeth (Mulvey) Morley. Kathy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth “Betsy” Ann Reynolds Schiller (Kirk) of Jenkintown, PA; her daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca “Becky” Lee Reynolds Simulcik (Don Lambert) of Glen Allen, VA; three grandchildren, Emma and Paige Simulcik and Andrew Schiller; two sisters, Carol Morley Bosco (Louis) and Linda Morley and a long-time, loving family friend, Jacqueline “Jackie” McCormick Leigh (Jim) of Wyncote, PA. She is preceded in death by her parents, her ex-husband and close friend, Peter G. Reynolds, Jr., her first son-in-law Stephen John Simulcik, and her sister, Wilma “Billie” Morley Conover. After the death of both of her parents, Kathy attended Holy Family College and then started her work career at the anchor store for Strawbridge and Clothier Department Stores in Philadelphia where she met Peter. After a few years at home to raise her children, Kathy returned to the work force as a Teller/Head Teller/Teller Trainer for Fidelity Bank in Philadelphia and then accepted a promotion to Vice President with Liberty Bank. Following her banking career, Kathy worked for the Abington Tax Office where she retired in 2003. At Hopkins Center, Kathy was a very active volunteer, holding resident meetings, broadcasting daily announcements and working for the Activities Department in the in-house store. She was baptized into the Catholic Church as an infant and was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. For the last 35 years of her life, she was a faithful parishioner of Immaculate Conception BVM parish in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania and served the Church as a Eucharistic Minister at mass and for homebound/seriously ill parishioners and delivered meals to the homebound. Kathy also achieved designation for the study of Catholic Literature in Church Ministry from St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Seminary. Kathy was a long-time resident of Jenkintown and in her later years was well cared for by her loving daughter, Betsy, and the wonderful staff at Hopkins Center. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Kathy’s life at a mass of Christian burial at Immaculate Conception BVM Catholic Church in Jenkintown by Rev. William J.
