Kathleen (Delone) Freed passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at ManorCare Health Services in King of Prussia, PA. She was 91. Mrs. Freed was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as a Market Research Specialist for Gallup Poll. Kathleen was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA. She was active in the Humane Society and the SPCA.Born in Philadelphia, PA on April 23, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Marguerite (Coughlin) Delone. She was the wife of the late Albert S. Freed, who died in 1960. Surviving is her loving family including two sons: Richard D. Freed and his wife, Louise, of Bridgeport, PA and Robert B. Freed and his wife, Robin, of Newtown, PA; a daughter, Kathleen H. Schlagel of King of Prussia, PA; nine grandchildren: Richard, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Jennifer, Thomas, Teresa, Michael, Kristina and Anthony; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a son, Albert Freed; and a granddaughter, Alissa Robinson.Kathleen's funeral services and interment will be private at the request of the family.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kathleen's memory to the Humane Society of the United States, 2100 L.
