Kathleen R Holland

Kathleen (Kathie) Holland passed away after a brief illness on Friday, May 11, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was 68. She was born in Abington, PA on February 24, 1950 and after raising their children in Jenkintown, she and John moved to Huntingdon Valley, PA in 1995. She was the daughter of the late Margaret E. Castor (Ueltzen) and John N. Castor. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, John Holland, Sr.; four children: Sandra VanDorick (Michael), John Holland, Jr. (Rosi), Jennifer Robinson (Paul), and Jason Holland; ten grandchildren: Andrew, Marc, Ryan, John, III, Abigail, Sarah, Jillian, Hailey, Hannah, Jason, Jr. and many other loving family members. She is preceded in death by her two brothers John Castor, Jr. and Karl Castor and her son Derrick Holland. Kathie grew up in Glenside and attended Abington High School. She worked at Barbieri and Kline, Inc. for over 40 years as an inside sales representative and retired in 2015. She enjoyed movies, bowling, cooking, watching the Food Network and HGTV, reading Stephen King novels and going to craft shows. After retiring, Kathie was able to enjoy even more time with her grandchildren. Funeral services are being held at McGoldrick Funeral Home, 507 West Ave., Jenkintown, PA 19046. Visitation begins at 10 AM and her service will follow immediately after at 11AM.
