Kathleen A. (Kay) Kelly Mrs. Kathleen A. (Kay) Kelly, 96, formerly of Tacony. Passed away Wednesday, December 14th, 2011 peacefully at St. Mary's Catholic Nursing Home in Cherry Hill, NJ. Mrs. Kelly was born in Phila., PA on November 3, 1915, the daughter of the late Cornelius and Catherine (Bradley) Sweeney and raised by her Step Parents Daniel P. Diamond & Isabel (Bradley) Diamond. She was employed as a Tax Examiner at the IRS in Phila., PA., for 12 years retiring in 1983. She had been a member of St. Leo's Woman's Assoc., St. Leo's Seniors & Vogt Seniors. She had graduated from Clayton Grammar & High School in New Jersey where she resided from age 5 till she was 17. Then she moves back to Philadelphia where she was a member of St. Leo the Great Church. She was the beloved wife of Clement Kelly who passed away in 1997 for 57 years. Loving Mother of Bernice Perugini (Thomas), Kathleen Nelson (Joseph), James 'Rick' Kelly (Marie), Rita Howe (Jeff) and the late Peter Kelly. Dear sister of Marguerite Carlson and the late Patricia Griffin. Also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandson. Relatives and Friends are invited to her viewing Sunday 7-9 PM and Monday 8:30-9:30 AM at Walter J. Meyers Funeral Home P.C. 6643-45 Torresdale Ave. Phila., PA 19135. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Leo the Great Upper Church 10 AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cem Yeadon, PA. In lieu of flowers Donations in her memory to St. Leo's Church 6658 Keystone St. Phila., PA 19135.
