Kathleen S Reilley

Kathleen S. Reilley, age 73 of Eagleville passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. She was born in Philadelphia on March 3, 1951, to the late Joseph and Rita (nee Gallagher) Smyth. The eldest of eight children, she was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Smyth, and sister, Karen Smyth. She is also predeceased by her nephew, Michael Brown.

Kathleen is survived by her beloved husband, L. Alan Reilley III of 46 years; 3 sons, L. Alan IV (Jenny Roberts-Reilley), Graham Patrick, and Keith Joseph (Audra Harvey); 5 siblings, Susan Smyth (Dan McDade), Thomas Smyth (Kathleen Burg Smyth), Veronica Snyder (James), Paul Smyth (Patti), and Sheila Quinn (Steven); sister-in-law, Nancy Smyth, and many nieces and nephews.

Kathy was born and raised in Philadelphia. She graduated from St. Hubert Catholic High School for Girls and Saint Mary’s School of Practical Nursing. Loving and caring for children with illnesses was her life’s work. She served as a pediatric nurse at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children for many years before transitioning to pediatric home healthcare overnights.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 10:15 to 10:45 am Tuesday, April 23, 2024, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 am at Visitation BVM Church, 196 N. Trooper Rd., Eagleville, Pa 19403. Cemetery services will be private later.
