Kathleen Marie Reilly

Kathleen Reilly, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and lover of life, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2024. She leaves behind cherished memories and a devoted family.

Born on January 28, 1951, Kathy was a beacon of strength. She faced lifes challenges fearlessly and bravely, she was fiercely protective of her family, friends and the love of her life, her best friend and husband Luke.

Kathy was loved by all that knew her. She had a unique ability to see the good in everyone and maintained her optimism through hardship while still keeping her practicality.

Kathy loved to read and had a stack of books in the house at all times, if she wasn’t reading she was spoiling her dogs, Darby and Molly. She found joy in the simple beauty of the world. Her garden was a work of art and music was always her companion.

Kathy was the bravest person her family ever knew. She is deeply missed by her husband Luke.

She is survived by her children Daniel, Edward, Siobhan, Maureen, and Kathleen, her son in law Linford, her daughter in law Laura, her grandchildren Linford, James, Abigail, Jackson, Ethan, Gabby, Leah, Genevieve, Daniel, Jontae, Joshua, Troy, Margaret and Isabella.

Kathy, Mom,Garney- we miss you terribly. We promise to always live life the way you would want- with kindness, appreciation, and celebrate the small moments.

Family and friends are invited to Kathleen’s viewing on Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 9:30 AM -10:45 AM at St. James Church (8320 Brookside Rd., Elkins Park, PA 19027) followed by her funeral mass starting at 11:00 AM.
