Kathleen E. "Kean" (Hatch) Steinhofer passed away peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2015 at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, PA. She was 85. Mrs. Steinhofer was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She was a 1946 graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia, PA. She worked at the former Bryn Mawr Water Co., which is now Aqua Water Co. She was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia. Kean enjoyed cooking and baking, and bird watching. She always had a sense of humor and liked making people happy. She loved all sports, especially Villanova basketball. Kean was a loving wife, mother and grandma. A big thank you mom!Born in Bryn Mawr, PA on April 3, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Catherine (McClafferty) Hatch. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 62 years, Peter E. Steinhofer, Sr.; two sons, Peter E. Jr. & Brenda Steinhofer of Happy Valley, Oregon and Kenneth R. Steinhofer of King of Prussia, PA; a daughter, Sharon A. Steinhofer of King of Prussia, PA; two granddaughters, Candace & Katrina; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Pete & John Hatch; and two sisters, Sarah Hatch Griffith and Mary Hatch Leddy.Kean's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10:30 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. The family will receive relatives & friends on Saturday from 9 to 10:15 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kean's memory to the American Heart Association, 5455 N.
