Kathleen H. (Marley) Thomas

Kathleen H. (Marley) Thomas passed away peacefully on Friday, June 3, 2011,surrounded by her loving family at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 85. Kathleen enjoyed reading and going to the Jersey Shore. Born in Marietta, PA on August 9, 1925, she was a daughter of the Late Charles and Catherine (Miller) Marley. She was the wife of the late Lawrence J. Thomas, who died in 1994. Surviving is her loving family including three sons: Lawrence J. Thomas, Jr., William C. "Willie" Thomas and Edward R. "Ed" Thomas, all of King of Prussia, PA; a daughter, Theresa A. Metz and her husband, James I. of Winter Park, Fl; two grandchildren, Lawrence J. III and James; five great-grandchildren: Amanda, Scott, Austin, James Jr. and Samuel; a sister-in-law, Helen Marley of Hershey, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Marley. Kathleen's Funeral Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., (Route 202) Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 10:30am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday morning from 9 to 10:20am, at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA.
