Kathleen (Soneki) Waring

Kathleen (Soneki) Waring was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on May 31, 1945. She was the daughter of Joseph H. Soneki and Mary (Shopek) Soneki. She had been a resident of Philadelphia until she moved to King of Prussia, PA in 2007 where she enjoyed her retirement years with her husband, daughter and grandchildren. Kathleen enjoyed attending her grandchildren's swim meets and other sports activities during the year and also travelled widely with her family to New York City and Disney World and summered annually in Ocean City, NJ.She was educated in Bethlehem schools and completed a nursing program at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She was affiliated with several hospitals in the Philadelphia area including Rolling Hill Hospital, Parkview Hospital, and Albert Einstein Medical Center. For twenty years, she served as an administrator at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ before her retirement in 2009.Kathleen passed away suddenly on January 6. She is survived by her husband, Vernon; her daughter, Elizabeth Clayton; son-in-law, Thomas Clayton; two grandchildren, Drew and Gabriel; all of King of Prussia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families.Relatives and friends are invited to Kathleen's Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 10:00am. Her viewing is Saturday from 9 to 9:50 am, at the church.
