Kathryn K. (Katarynick) Allen

Kathryn K. (Katarynick) Allen passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Neshaminy Manor in Warrington, PA. She was 90. Mrs. Allen was a resident of Warrington and was formerly of King of Prussia, PA. She worked until her 75th birthday as an administrative secretary for Xerox and Donnelly Directory. Kathryn was a graduate of the former Conshohocken High School. She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bridgeport. Born in Plymouth Meeting, PA on April 3, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Onufry and Eva (Salayda) Katarynick. Surviving is her loving family including two nieces, Anne (Makowiak) Barnhurst of Warminster, PA and Kathy (Katarynick) Flournoy of Souderton, PA; a nephew, Frank (Sandi) Katarynick of King of Prussia, PA; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Katarynick; and a sister, Anna (Katarynick) Makowiak.Relatives & friends are invited to Kathryn's Divine Liturgy at SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 519 Union Ave., Bridgeport, PA on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 12:00 noon. Her viewing is Friday from 11 to 11:50 am, at the church. Officiating will be Msgr. Dr. Ronald Popivchak, Pastor. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.
