Kathryn B. (Bookheimer) Knauer

Kathryn B. (Bookheimer) Knauer passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2015 at her residence in Eagleville, PA. She was 91. Kathryn worked as a lamp setter for Streamlight in E. Norriton, PA and was also employed at the Norristown State Hospital for 18 years. She was a member of Lower Providence Presbyterian Church in Eagleville. Kathryn enjoyed baking, sewing, crocheting and crafts. She was a member of the Methodist Ladies Circle in Norristown.Born in Worchester, PA on August 17, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Kathryn (Bregler) Bookheimer. Surviving is her loving family including a daughter, Barbara A. Knauer of Eagleville, PA; a son, Earl T. & Melissa Knauer of Pensacola, FL; three grandchildren: Kristine & Sam Fell, Jacqueline & Anthony Capuito and Jerrimy & Rachel Knauer; five great-grandchildren: David, Kathryn, William, Walker and Danny; a sister, Dorothy Snyder of Midlothian, Texas; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by five brothers: Robert, Ralph, Samuel, Christian and Earl; and two sisters, Almeida and Pauline.Relatives and friends are invited to Kathryn's Funeral Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 11:00 am. Her viewing is Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:50 am, at the funeral home.
