Katie E. Lopez

Katie E. Lopez passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 17, 2017 in Philadelphia, PA. She was 27. Katie was a resident of Norristown, PA and was formerly of Thousand Oaks, CA. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and worked as a Team Lead for Med Risk in King of Prussia, PA. Katie enjoyed soccer, the Golden State Warriors, and she loved her cat, Panther. She was always smiling, happy and positive, and she had a great sense of humor. Katie was hardworking, selfless and caring, and was loved by all who met her. Born in Thousand Oaks, CA on February 9, 1990, she was a daughter of Rodolfo A. and Maria E. (Calderon) Lopez. Surviving in addition to her parents are two sisters, Bianca Lopez and Laura Lopez, both of Thousand Oaks, CA; paternal grandmother, Rosa Lopez; and maternal grandmother, Bertha Calderon. She was preceded in death by both grandfathers, Salvador Lopez and Benjamin Lopez. Relatives and friends are invited to Katie’s Funeral Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 7:00 pm.
