Kenneth Garwood Middleton passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, August 15, 2025. He was 78 years old and spent most of his life residing in Chester County PA. Professionally, he worked in television as a producer and director, helping to launch QVC as one of its founding members and producing hundreds of live sporting events with PRISM (Philadelphia Regional In-home Sports and Movies). In his free time, Ken was never far from an adventure from sailing in the south pacific to boating on the Chesapeake Bay. He loved a glass of wine and cheering on (or shouting at) the Phillies, depending on how the game was going. In his younger years, he was a member of the folk band, General Store, performing in coffee shops and other venues across the tristate area.
Born in Collingswood, NJ on May 21, 1947, he was the son of the late Donald and Kathryn (Evaul) Middleton. Ken was the loving husband to Tanya Marie Stroh for nearly 36 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Tessa Middleton (Dean) and his son, Tim Middleton (Sarah); two grandchildren, Taylor and Wyatt; and his Bichon Dan, as well as many other extended family and friends.
Services and interment will be private for the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ken’s name to The Chesapeake Bay Foundation at https://www.cbf.org/index.html.
Arrangements are by The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Bridgeport, PA.
