Kenneth F. Silvers

Kenneth (Kenny) Silvers Mr. Kenneth F. Silvers, 81, of  Philadelphia passed away Tuesday, October 8th, 2013 at his home, surrounded by his family.  Mr. Silvers was born in Phila, PA on March 17, 1932, the son of the late Harry and Anna Mae (Bescript) Silvers. He was the husband of the late Joan (Pater) Silvers. Kenny was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War, Ken served in the submarine service on the USS Tusk (SS426) and was a long time member of the Wissinoming Yacht Club. He is survived by his ex-wife and friend Elizabeth (Betty) Whalen, two children Michelle Juliano (Dave) and Janine Weick (Ed), two grandchildren Eddie and Caroline Weick (Janine/Ed) and cousin, Joan Darmohray (In lieu of flowers, you can make a cash or non-cash contribution in the memory of Kenneth Silvers, Korean War Veteran, USN to the Philadelphia V.A.
