Kenneth S. Walmer passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2010, surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Harleysville, PA. He was 79. Kenneth worked as an engineer for American Electronics Laboratory in Colmar, PA. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Montgomeryville, PA. There he was a member of the church choir, the church council from 1997 to 2002, and he was the council president from 2002 to 2002. Kenneth was also a charter member of the National Management Association@AEL and he was on the NMA Board of Directors in 1986. He was a graduate of Bucknell University, Class of 1956. Mr. Walmer was a US Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving from 1948 to 1952. Born in Elizabethtown, PA on December 22, 1930, he was a son of the late John and Margaret (Carl) Walmer. Surviving is his loving family including his wife, Patricia L. (Fehl) Walmer; 3 daughters: Jody Levinson and her husband, Gary of New Hope, PA, Kristy Kraynak of Frederick, MD and Julie Menardi and her husband, Myles of Soudertown, PA; 7 grandchildren; Grayson, Taylor, Casey, Nolan, Allison, Ryan and Myles; a brother, Jay Walmer and his wife, Bonnie of Elizabethtown, PA; and several nephews and nieces.Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service at Faith Lutheran Church, 615 Cowpath Rd., Montgomeryville, PA 18936 on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kenneth's memory to Faith Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 182, Montgomeryville, PA 18936.
