In Loving Memory of Kristin O. Judge
Kristin O. Judge, age 60, late of Jenkintown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 4, 2026, after bravely fighting for several years a relatively unknown auto-immune disease of the lungs called Interstitial Pulmonary Fibrosis, in addition to Parkinson’s Disease.
Kristin was the beloved daughter of Kathleen O. (Kate) Pasco Proud (James Proud) of Philadelphia, PA, and Paul Feuerstein of New York, NY. Kristin was a beautiful, intelligent, and happy person, who was well liked and respected by all who met or knew her. Born in St. Louis, MO on October 20, 1965, Kristin was the devoted mother of her son, Timothy Wiesenhutter of Philadelphia, PA, and the beloved wife and life companion of her husband, Marty M. Judge of Jenkintown, PA.
In addition to her son and husband, Kristin is also survived by her step-mother, Rebecca Eddy, also of New York, NY, her brother and sister-in-law, John Mark and Stephanie Feuerstein, of Indiana, a nephew, Zach Sletner, of Las Vegas, Nevada, nieces Faith and Trinity Feuerstein, both of Indiana, her sister, Sywen Feuerstein, and her nephew, Devlin Feuerstein, also of New York, NY.
At the time of her death, and due mainly to her illness, Kristin was retired from Arcadia University, Glenside, PA, where she had worked for many years in many roles – mainly related to management and oversight of the University’s academic mission. Her official title at retirement was Assistant to the Provost of the University, and her immediately prior title was Assistant to the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs.
Kristin held a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Temple University awarded in January of 1994, as well as a Master of Education degree awarded December 2003 from Arcadia University (then Beaver College). At the time she retired, Kristin had been actively working on a Doctor of Education degree, again from Arcadia University, and all that remained for completion of her degree was to complete her thesis and withstand its defense. However, her illness ultimately prevented that from happening.
Prior to the onset of her illness, among other interests and hobbies, Kristin had been a recreational skier and an enthusiastic duffer on the golf course. However, she was a much better tennis player, as she enjoyed playing (and even winning) in mixed doubles leagues while paired with her husband, Marty.
For hobbies, Kristin liked to bake, sew, read, watch Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and Hallmark Channel movies, solve the New York Times crossword puzzles and other word games, and cook complicated but delicious meals for her son and husband based on recipes that she often downloaded from the internet, or obtained from the New York Times.
Kristin was also thoroughly devoted to her family’s two Papillon dogs, Jolie and Eevee, as well as the family’s two Samoyeds, Jake and Zoe, although they all lived at different times. However, Kristin always felt a special closeness to and responsibility for Jolie, especially since Jolie was Kristin’s first rescue dog. Separately, Kristin also felt a special attachment to Eevee because Kristin had traveled alone to meet and bring Eevee home from a Papillon breeder in Kansas City in the middle of the Covid epidemic.
Starting with the desire of her son, Timothy, join the Boy Scouts of America, Kristin also freely donated large amounts of her time as a volunteer adult leader, troop committee member, and eventual Assistant Scoutmaster, with Troop 1, Abington, PA, where she generously donated many hours and even days of her time offering supervision and guidance to the boys in that Troop. In that role, she supervised, attended, and participated in many camping trips, volunteer work projects, and other typical Boy Scout outings and activities, including Scout sponsored charitable work, for which she generously devoted countless hours and days without compensation. She also successfully completed all of the requirements to be awarded the prestigious and much coveted Wood Badge award, which is Scouting America's premier, advanced leadership training course for adult leaders. In fact, Kristin received her Wood Badge award at the same ceremony when her son, Timothy, received the rank of Eagle Scout, making her extremely proud both for herself and as a parent to her son.
Simply put, Kristin was well respected for her leadership, dedication, and commitment to helping others grow and succeed. She will always be remembered with love and affection by those who were fortunate enough to meet or know her, in addition to those whose lives were otherwise touched by her overall kindness, professionalism, devotion, intelligence, and steady support. She is and was a kind and beautiful person who remains deeply loved by her family and friends. She will be forever missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Kristin’s funeral mass, followed by the final interment of her ashes, to be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 3:00 PM EDT, at All Hallows Episcopal Church, 262 Bent Rd. Wyncote, PA, which is Kristin’s home parish. In addition, the family intends to have a separate Celebration of Life reception in remembrance of Kristin, which will also take place at All Hallows Church, on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 3:00 PM EDT, more details to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Kristin’s name to either or both of the following organizations, for which charitable donation information can be found online: the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation and/or the Parkinson’s Foundation.
