Her humor, albeit understated was cherished. Kristin was the most thoughtful and loving wife, mother, daughter, friend and co-worker. She was selfless, known to help others frequently and never placing her needs first. Kristin did not want to be the life of the party, but at its conclusion she would leave others in admiration.

Introverted like her husband, they were the perfect match, Kristin would remain quiet, reluctant to chime in at times, that is until it was necessary to correct Brad, but when she did have something to say, those who knew her, would stop and listen, some known to take notes.

Kristin’s proudest moment was on November 27, 2020, when she became a mother to her only child, her son, Lucjan Leonard LaPlaca.

Kristin is survived by her beloved husband, Brad LaPlaca, who shared 28 amazing years with her, their son Lucjan, her mother, Carol Reigle, sister Kimberly Reigle (Ron Bonawitz), brother Kenneth Reigle (Erin Kliber-Reigle), nephews Dylan Bonawitz, Ciaran Reigle, Nicholas Wesley, and niece, Iona Reigle.
