Kyle Richard Minnich (50) of King of Prussia, passed away peacefully on Friday April 26, 2024, at his home, after a hard-fought battle with Central Nervous System Lymphoma.
Kyle was born on September 12, 1973, in Bryn Mawr, PA to H. Richard Minnich and Sandra (Baker) Minnich.
Kyle was a loving husband to his high school sweetheart Laura (Dobbs) Minnich and was a devoted father to his four beautiful children, Luc (Alyssa), Hayleigh (Thomas) Smith, Troy (Lauren Wojciechowski), and Cole (fiancé Bianca Gulotta). Kyle was also lovingly known as Poppy to his grandson Mason Smith and granddaughter on the way Lillian Minnich.
Throughout his children’s life, Kyle was a dedicated lacrosse coach to his three boys. Even when not coaching you could find Kyle at every single game, even if it meant hopping field to field. When off the field, Kyle shared his love of all animals with his daughter Hayleigh. Kyle was a man that would give the shirt off his back to anyone that crossed his path and made friends with everyone he met. Amongst many things, one of Kyle’s favorite things to do was vacation with his family to Top Sail, NC. Kyle also enjoyed long Jeep rides, camping in the mountains, adventures with his dog Ranger, and all types of music. No matter where he was, you could find Kyle at the grill happy to host his family and friends. Kyle was an avid Philadelphia Flyers and Eagles fan. Although not a part of the major leagues, Kyle also enjoyed backyard games with his family such as kan jam and cornhole. Kyle’s sense of humor and smile was infectious, lighting up any room he walked into.
Kyle was employed at Vanguard for 30 years, where he made many lifelong friends. Kyle was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge #714 in Bridgeport, Pennsylvania. He held positions as Lodge President, District State Vice President, and District Deputy. Kyle and Laura traveled around the country with the Elks and made many friends along the way.
