Larry R Griffin

Larry Robert Griffin, 60, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Larry was born on September 17, 1957 in Franklin, PA to the late George Griffin and Helen (Cozad) Griffin . Larry graduated from Franklin High School in 1976, and attended Allegheny County Community College. Larry was an avid hunter (who especially enjoyed hunting with his brother Jay, his daughter Emily, his son Robert, his brother-in-law Sean, his cousin Troy, and his deceased Uncle Bernard), a trout fisherman, a gardener, and was a seasoned girls high school and college basketball referee. He was a computer Database Administrator with multiple computer programming skills. He is survived by his wife, Maria Griffin, and his children Robert Griffin, Emily Griffin, Kelsey Griffin and Elena Griffin, his brother Jay (and Kathleen) Griffin, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Raymond and his sister June Lynch. Larry was a friend to many, loved life, and will be sorely missed. Friends will be received at Saint Columbkill Catholic Church, 200 Indian Spring Road, Boyertown, PA 19512, from 10am - 11am, with a mass at 11:00am and luncheon to follow.
