Laurie Elizabeth Mcadams

Laurie Elizabeth McAdams was a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt. Born to Nanette Campopiano McAdams and Joseph Patrick McAdams on October 28th 1964, Laurie spent her life in Drexel Hill, PA. She is remembered by her siblings, Scott and Tara McAdams, and her brother-in-law, Robert Gordon, as kind, passionate, and very funny. Lila and Esther Gordon, her nieces, were deeply loved and endlessly supported by her sharp wit and strong will. Friends describe her as vibrant and beautiful. During her life she worked at the University of Pennsylvania, and then at Haverford College. She loved swimming, and she loved the shore. One of her most special qualities was an uncanny ability to understand who needed her help, and to know how she could help that person. Laurie passed away peacefully on May 6th, 2021 in her home on Stoneybrook Lane. She will be missed. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Services entrusted to the Walter J.
