Lawrence J. Logan, a dedicated engineer, devoted husband, loving father, and proud veteran, passed away peacefully at the age of 92.

Born on January 14, 1933, Larry embodied the qualities of steadfastness and intellectual curiosity throughout his long and impactful life. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, an experience that instilled in him a deep sense of discipline and purpose.

Following his military service, he embarked on a distinguished career as an Electrical Engineer. He spent many fruitful years at General Electric (GE), where his expertise contributed to groundbreaking work on weather satellites. Later in his career, he transitioned to the field of medical equipment sales, combining his technical knowledge with a passion for helping others.

Beyond his professional life, Larry had a lifelong passion for boating and aviation, holding a license as a private pilot and spending time on his boat the Impulse II in the Chesapeake Bay. He found immense joy and freedom soaring above the clouds or spending time on the water, hobbies that spoke to his adventurous spirit.

Above all, Larry’s greatest devotion was to his family. He was a loving husband to his wife, Jean, for 66 years, and a patient, supportive, and loving father to his children.
