Lawrence J. Miller

Lawrence J. Miller passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 11, 2021, surrounded by his family at his residence in Honey Brook, PA. He was 72. Mr. Miller worked for the Brunner & Lay Mining Co. in Bridgeport, PA, until his retirement in 2005. He liked to read, travel, visiting the casinos, and going to the beach. Born in Carmichaels, PA on February 26, 1948, he was a son of the late Dewey R. and Matilda A. (Journic) Miller. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 53 years, Gwendolyn A. (McHarg) Miller; a son, Lawrence J. Miller Jr. and his wife, Ann Marie; four grandchildren: Jamie Metz and her husband, Ben, and Logan, Kayla and Marissa; seven great-grandchildren: Benjamin, Joshua, Julianna, Logan, William, Anastasia and Ella; a brother, William J. Miller; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise Mary Miller; and a brother, Robert M. Miller. Relatives and friends are invited to Lawrence’s Graveside Service at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, 352 S. Gulph Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 11:00 am.
