Lena R. Zeigler

Lena R. (Larcinese) Zeigler passed away peacefully on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Season's Hospice in Phoenixville, PA. She was 89. Mrs. Zeigler was a resident of Douglassville, PA and was previously of Bridgeport, PA. She worked as a supervisor for Chevron, a payroll company. Lena was a member of St. Gabriel R.C. Church in Stowe, PA and a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. Born in Norristown, PA on September 16, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas A. and Philomena (Porecca) Larcinese, and the wife of the late George W. Zeigler, Jr., who died in 2007. Surviving is her loving family including two sons, George W. Zeigler, III of Douglassville, and James N. Zeigler and his wife, Cheryl, of Douglassville, PA; two grandsons, Daniel and Christopher; three great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Jillian and Griffin; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Samuel Larcinese; and a sister, Mary Cornacchio. Lena’s Prayer Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 10:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:50 am. Interment will be in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia.
