Leo Braveheart Mascaro, 17, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 3rd from complications related to a lifelong heart condition. He died peacefully in his sleep at his home in Jenkintown PA. Leo was a miracle the moment he entered this world. He was brave, strong, deep, creative and bursting with life. He was passionate about his music and those he loved. He was known for his kindness, his ability to connect with people, and his authenticity. Leo knew exactly who he wanted to be, and he lived his life accordingly. He worked side by side with his dad at his contracting company and we were so proud of how much pride he took in his trade. You would find Leo at all hours of the day and night whipping up a meal with special homemade sauces, shredding on his guitar to Jimmy Hendrix, or laughing with his friends and family. He brought so much joy to so many people. There are no words to describe the level of loss we are feeling. Leo is survived by his loving parents, John & Meg, his siblings; Maya, Aria and husband Joe Duffey, Anya and husband Drew Saracco, Sophia, Jacob, Eva, and Jazz (who was like a brother to Leo). Leo also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews; Grayson, Greta, Isa, Nola, Kaia, and Dillon, as well as many aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his brother Zachary. A public viewing will be held from 12 to 2pm on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at the Walter J. Meyers Funeral Home located at 507 West Ave Jenkintown, PA. Immediately following the viewing, we will hold a memorial service for family and close friends. Condolences may be made at www.meyersfh.com
