Leonard C. Magnis    Leonard C. Magnis, 89, of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23rd, 2015 He was formerly of Gillespie St. in Tacony. Leonard was born in Shenandoah, PA on October 5, 1925, a son of the late Victoria (Kordecki) and Charles Magnis. He served in the U.S. Army as a Pvt. in WW II.  He worked as a machinist at Crown Cork and Seal Leonard was the beloved husband of the late Doris E. (nee Romanuski).  Loving Father of Grace McClelland (Jeff), Donna Horsch (Klaus) and the late Debbie Magnis. Devoted Grandfather of Klaus and Nicole, and Brother of Joseph Dudis and Marion Andrews. Relatives and Friends are invited to his viewing Thursday 7-9 PM   at the Walter J. Meyers Funeral Home 6643-45 Torresdale Ave. Phila., PA 19135 and another viewing on Friday 8:45-9:20 AM at St. Jerome Church 8100 Colfax St.  (At Holme Ave. & Stamford St.) Philadelphia, PA 19136 where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9:30 AM.  Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
