Leonardo Alcala Santos

Leonardo "Leonard" A. Santos, age 84 of Rydal, PA passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. He was born in the Philippines on January 18, 1941, to the late Isabel (Alcala) and Domingo Santos.

He was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Bienvenida (née Ranjo), and a proud father to his sons, Raphael Santos, Gabriel “Gabe” Santos, Lawrence Santos, and the late Michael Santos. Leonard's presence in their lives was a source of strength, joy, and unconditional love. Leonard is also survived by his daughter in law Isabelita Santos, his 3 granddaughters: Rhea Santos of Los Angeles, CA, Erin Santos of Pittsburgh, PA, Ally Santos of Wyomissing, PA and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews living in the United States and Philippines.

Born and raised in Pasay City, Philippines Leonard studied commerce and accounting and graduated from De La Salle College of Manila. Leonard immigrated to the United States in January 1972 and became a U.S. citizen later in February 1978. He worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for 30 years as a Budget Analyst (1974-2004). He enjoyed watching tv, movies, and sports, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Leonard will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday, November 19th from 9:15-10:15 am followed by his funeral mass at 10:30 am both held at the Immaculate Conception BVM Church, 604 West Ave. Jenkintown, PA.
