Leroy Kemery passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at the Coatesville VA Medical Center in Coatesville, PA. He was 93. Mr. Kemery was a former resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a public accountant for the former Jomac Inc. in Warrington, PA. Leroy was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia. He was also a member of VFW Post 7878 in King of Prussia and the American Legion Frank C. Parker, Jr. Post 901 in Norristown, PA.Mr. Kemery was a US Army veteran of WW II, serving as a Tech Sergeant from 1941 to 1945, in the Persian Gulf.Born in Sunbury, PA on July 5, 1919, he was a son of the late William E. and Elizabeth M. (Comfort) Kemery. He was the husband of the late Jean D. (D'Amico) Kemery, who died in 1974, and the late Lida S. (Smith) Kemery, who died in 2000. Surviving is his loving daughter, Bettiann Kinsey and her husband, Rob, of Lansdale, PA; three grandchildren: Gregory, Evan and Katie Bruno; two step-grandchildren, Sara and Emily Kinsey; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Warren Kemery, and two sisters, Mary Snyder and Helen Blackwell. Leroy's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday morning from 9 to 9:50 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Leroy's memory to the Coatesville VA Medical Center Hospice Unit, 1400 Black Horse Hill Rd., Coatesville, PA 19320.Arrangements are by The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., Bridgeport, PA. www.bacchifuneralhome.com
