Lillian H. Roberts

Lillian H. (Nigro) Roberts passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Jefferson Abington Hospital in Abington, PA. She was 89. Lillian was a member of Christ Church United Church of Christ in Norristown, PA. She loved knitting, going to the casinos, and doing jigsaw puzzles. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.

Born in Bridgeport, PA on June 10, 1933, she is a daughter of the late Pasquale and Mary (DeCounto) Nigro. Lillian was the wife of the late Donald H. Roberts, Sr who died in 1996.

Surviving are her loving family including 4 sons, George W. Roberts (Sharon), Donald H. Roberts, Jr (Susan), John D. Roberts (David Sawyer), and James P. Roberts (Jennifer); 8 grandchildren, Jason, Amanda (Adam), Mark, Jessica (Dustin), Stephanie (Mike), Ian, Aaron, Sydney; 4 great grandchildren, Lorenzo, Giuliana, Lillian, and Penelope; and many other loving family members.

Preceded in death by 3 brothers, Philip, Joseph, and Andrew Nigro; and 5 sisters: Madeline, Rose, Anne, Mary, and Louise.

Relatives and friends are invited to Lillian’s viewing at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., (Rt 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Monday, November 21, 2022, from 9 to 10 am, with her Funeral Service at 10 am. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, W. Norriton, PA.
