Linda J. Daywalt

Linda J. (McGarvey) Daywalt passed away on Wednesday May 31, 2023 at her residence in W. Norriton, PA. She was 60. Linda grew up in Ambler, PA and attended Wissahickon High School. She worked as a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service for many years in the surrounding area. Linda enjoyed reading, going to the beach and Pocono Mountains as well as spending time with her family.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on October 12, 1962. Linda is the daughter of William and Barbara (Downing) McGarvey and a step-daughter of Nancy McGarvey.

Surviving is her loving family including her husband, Gary K. Daywalt of Eagleville, PA; a daughter, Jillian M. (Joe) Wanczyk of Eagleville, PA; a son, George W. (Taylor) Daywalt of Pottsgrove, PA; 5 grandchildren: Bear, Carly, Hopper, Joey and Benjamin; a brother, Thomas McGarvey; a sister Amy (James) Bowe; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Linda’s family will receive relatives and friends at The Bacchi Funeral Home, 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:20am, with her Funeral Service starting at 11:30am. Inurnment will be private.
