Linda M. (Sharpless) Smith

Linda M. (Sharpless) Smith passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Reading Hospital & Medical Center in W. Reading, PA. She was 68. Mrs. Smith was a resident of Reading, PA. She was a member of the former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. Born in Norristown, PA on January 1, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Lewis G. Sharpless and Louise M. Imperiale. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 26 years, Ronald B. Smith, Sr.; two daughters, Lisa Caines and her husband, Thomas J. II, of Tunkhannock, PA and Denise Wahl and her husband, Joshua, of Sunbright, Tenn; two step-sons, Ronald B. Smith, Jr. and Scott Smith and his wife, Shawna, both of Birdsboro, PA; three grandchildren: Seth Caines, Julianna Valdes and Angelina Garay; one great-grandson, Tyler Meade; and a niece, Andrea M. Agricoli. She was preceded in death by a brother, Vincent A. “Jimmy” Vernose. Relatives & friends are invited to Linda’s Graveside Service at St. Augustine Cemetery, 251 W.
