Livia Bruno Catania

Livia (Bosco) Bruno Catania passed away peacefully on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Sunrise of Blue Bell in Blue Bell, PA. She was 85. Mrs. Catania was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as a factory worker for many years. Livia was a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Bridgeport, PA. She enjoyed swimming at the swim club, and going to the beach and laying in the sun. Livia loved to cook and always hosted Sunday dinners with her family. She was a loving mother, nonna, sister, daughter and friend. Born in Montella, Italy on April 3, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Gaetano and Michelina (Fiore) Bosco. Surviving is her loving family including three sons: Michael (Linda) Bruno, Aldo (Janice) Bruno and Carlo Bruno; five grandchildren: Angela Bruno, Gabriella Bruno, Nicole (Brian) Schaible, Michael Bruno and Janice Bruno; one great-granddaughter, Brynley; four sisters: Ida Vuotto, Gemma (William) Russell, Immaculata Sweeney and Lucia Stock; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Aldo Bruno and her second husband, Antonio Catania; and her brother, Mario Bosco. Relatives & friends are invited to Livia’s viewing at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 9:30 to 11:00 am; followed by her Prayer Service at 11:00 am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Livia’s memory to any charity of the donor's choice.
