Loretta Ann (Kopacz) Wenger passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 16, 2017, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 76. Loretta was a teacher for schools in the Philadelphia Catholic Archdiocese for 25 years. She was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia. Loretta loved playing bingo every Saturday at St. Patrick Church with her mother. Born in Swedesburg, PA on June 20, 1940, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Tirpak) Kopacz. Surviving is her family including her husband of 47 years, Edward D. Wenger; two sons, Joseph E. Wenger and his wife, Kaitlin, of Blue Bell, PA and Steven M. Wenger of Reading, PA; five grandchildren: Nolan, Davis, Madelynne, Taran and Aurora; a brother, John (Janet) Kopacz; two sisters, Jane (Skeet) Shaner and Mary (Joe) Rosato; and many other loving family members. Relatives and friends are invited to Loretta’s Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 10:30 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. Her viewing is Monday from 9 to 10:15 am, at the church. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Loretta’s memory to the American Liver Foundation, 39 Broadway, Suite 2700, New York, NY 10006.
