Lorraine B. Hirshorn

Lorraine B. (Fulton) Hirshorn passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Mercy Suburban Hospital in E. Norriton, PA. She was 66. Mrs. Hirshorn, a homemaker, was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as a secretary for the Holy Child Parish in Philadelphia, PA. Lorraine was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA, where she was a Catechist assistant. Lorraine loved to bake for her family and St. Johns Hospice. Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 6, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret F. (Brown) Fulton. Surviving are her loving family including her husband of 44 years, John S. Hirshorn; four sons, John S. Hirshorn, Jr. of Norristown, PA, Michael R. Hirshorn and his wife, Erin of King of Prussia, PA, Timothy H. Hirshorn and his wife, Melinda of Snohomish, WA and Thomas W. Hirshorn of Newmanstown, PA; a daughter, Barbara L. Martz and her husband, Ron of Limerick, PA; five grandchildren: Christopher, Aidan, Colin, Emma Rose and Tyler; and a brother, William J. Brennan of Boise, ID. Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 11:00am. Officiating will be Rev. Msgr. John T. Conway, Pastor. Her viewing will be Thursday morning from 9 to 10:50am, at the church. Interment will follow in Westminster Cemetery in Bala Cynwyd, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lorraine's memory to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Philadelphia, PA 19103 and/or the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E.
