Lorraine M. Strizziere

Lorraine M. (nee Chendorain) Strizziere passed away peacefully at her residence in Bridgeport, PA on Monday, August 19, 2024. She was 81 years old. Lorraine was born on March 9, 1943 in Bridgeport, PA to the late George “Chendy” and Alice T. (nee Urbas) Chendorain. She was the beloved wife of James A. Strizziere for 59 years. Lorraine graduated from Bishop Kenrick High School, class of 1961. She was a member of the former Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Bridgeport, where she volunteered at their annual feast for many years. More recently, she was a member of Sacred Heart Church, also in Bridgeport. Lorraine worked as a mechanical draftsman for Vernon Graphics in Norristown, where she drafted maps of areas all over. She also worked as a receptionist for various hair salons. Lorraine enjoyed gardening, baking cakes for people, and decorating Christmas trees for charity auction fundraisers.

In addition to her husband, James, Lorraine is survived by her son, Justin J. Strizziere (Kate); her daughter, Alexis Strizziere; two granddaughters, Cora Feldman and Alice Feldman; her sister, Martha A. Bale; as well as many other extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by two brothers, George Chendorain, Jr. and George Robert Chendorain.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Lorraine’s viewing at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson St. Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 9:30-10:20am, with her Funeral Mass beginning at 10:30am. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.
