Lorraine A. Rayca

Lorraine A. Rayca (nee Schwartz), age 77, of Philadelphia, PA passed peacefully on August 28, 2024 surrounded by her family. Born on September 22, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Rose (Venneri) and Adam Schwartz. Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Richard W. Rayca, Sr.

Loving mother of Richard W., Jr. (Kathleen) and Nicole (Rick). Grandmother to Jillian, Bella and Matt. Sister to Debbie (Joe) and Jim (Adrienne).

Throughout her career Lorraine worked in various positions but ultimately became a Personnel Officer for the US Attorneys office. Lorraine loved working with and helping people. Retiring early, Lorraine spent many years caring for her parents and traveling the world with her husband, Richard.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday, September 5th from 9-10:15 AM followed by her funeral mass at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Calvary Church 11024 Knights Rd. Phila., PA 19154. The interment for Lorraine and husband Richard will be held at St. Dominic’s Cemetery.
