Louis M. Roberto, III, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in E. Norriton, PA. He was 69. Louis was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, PA. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church and a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, both in Bridgeport, PA. Louis went to Our Lady of Mount Carmel School and was in the Boy Scouts of America. He graduated from Upper Merion High School, Class of 1972, where he played on the Baseball and Football Teams. Louis worked as a truck driver for 17 years at Core & Main in Plymouth Meeting, PA and at his family business, Jim & Ralph’s Produce his whole life.
He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan, enjoyed going to Valley Forge Casino and playing cards with his buddies. But his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family, especially his great-niece Sophia.
Born in Phoenixville, Pa on September 17, 1954, he was the son of the late Angeline M. “Julie” (DeNicola) and Louis M. Roberto, Jr.
Surviving is his loving family including his sister, Angela Roberto Gear and her husband, Michael; 2 nieces, Kristy Wynn and her husband, Jason; and Heather Smisko (Kristopher Panos); 1 nephew, Michael C. Gear; and a great-niece, Sophia Marie Wynn; and many other loving family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Louis’ viewing at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 DeKalb St., (Rt. 202) Bridgeport, PA on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 9:00am to 10:50am, with his Prayer Service starting at 11:00am. Interment will be at St. Augustine Cemetery in King of Prussia, PA.
