Louis D. Tancredi, Sr.

Louis D. Tancredi Sr. passed away peacefully on Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Meadows at Shannondell in Audubon, PA. He was 84. Mr. Tancredi was a resident of Audubon, PA and was formerly of Bridgeport, PA. He worked as a production mechanic for Johnson & Johnson in Bridgeport, PA. Louis was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA, where he was an annual feast worker. Mr. Tancredi was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Born in Bridgeport, PA on October 23, 1928, he was a son of the late Vincent J. Tancredi, Sr. and Elsie D. (DiFillippo) Tancredi. Surviving is his loving family including his wife, Nina F. (Arnhart) Tancredi; two step-daughters, Jennifer M. Petrolati and her husband, John Shepski, of Portland, OR and Amy S. Petrolati and her husband, Phil Kholmetz, of Vallejo, CA; two step-grandchildren, Cash and Maybelle; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a son, Louis D. Tancredi, Jr.; a brother, Vincent J. Tancredi, Jr.; and a sister, Rose M. Moles. Relatives & friends are invited to Louis' Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 10:00 am. His viewing will be Thursday morning from 9 to 9:50 am, at the church.
