Louise D. (Solomon) Bailey

Louise D. "Weezy" or "Nanni" (Solomon) Bailey passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2015 at St. Mary Manor in Lansdale, PA. She was 81. Mrs. Bailey was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She received a Business Degree from the Peirce School and worked as a bookkeeper for Stanley Zerby Shoes for 8 years. Louise was a member of the former St. Augustine R.C. Church in Bridgeport, PA and the Upper Merion Senior Center. She enjoyed collecting porcelain elephant figurines, cooking, dancing and traveling. Most of all, Louise loved spending time with her family. She was known for her vibrant personality. Born in Columbus, GA on January 11, 1934, she was the daughter of the late James and Cora (Anthony) Solomon. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 56 years, Harry J. Bailey; two sons, Eric J. Bailey of King of Prussia, PA and Marc A. & Kim Bailey of Gulph Mills, PA; a grandson, Andrew J.; and a brother, Eugene Solomon of Columbia, MD. Relatives & friends are invited to Louise's Funeral Mass at the St. Augustine Worship Site, 464 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 10:00 am. Her viewing will be Wednesday from 9 to 9:50 am, at the worship site.
