Louise A. (Collins) Bednar

Louise A. (Collins) Bednar passed away peacefully on Monday, May 30, 2011, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 70. Mrs. Bednar worked for Worldco Data in Trooper, PA and she also worked part time as a bus aid for the Upper Merion Area School District. Louise was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA, where she was an annual feast worker and a member of their Congrega.Born in King of Prussia, PA on January 18, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Nellie (Mollica) Collins. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 48 years, Frank A. Bednar, Jr.; two sons, Joseph M. Bednar and his wife, Laura of King of Prussia, PA and Frank A. Bednar, III and his wife, Kimberly of King of Prussia, PA; and four grandchildren: Jenna, Lexi, Taylor and Brandon. Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St. Bridgeport, PA on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 12:00pm. Viewings will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8pm at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 and also Friday morning from 11 to 11:50am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Louise's memory to the Bednar family to help defray medical expenses, 301 Ross Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406.
